About Lisa Helfert
Lisa Helfert is an editorial and commercial photographer specializing in people. She works primarily with higher education and health care institutions, life style magazines and associations creating images for their websites, annual reports and promotional materials.
Her secondary specializations are archeology and animal science. She has worked with scientists, farmers, artists, and horse lovers, as well as, overseas and out in the field with archaeologists.
Lisa began her career in 1992 as the University of Maryland’s sports photographer and followed the men’s basketball team to the final four in 2003. Lisa graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in journalism.
